Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Takt (the "Service"), operated by Takt ("we", "us"). By creating an account, subscribing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Takt helps you find, monitor, and engage professional contacts on LinkedIn — discovering leads, tracking their activity, and drafting comments, posts, and messages in your voice. Features vary by subscription plan.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information and keep your password secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 18 and authorized to accept these Terms on behalf of any organization you represent.

3. Subscriptions, billing, and refunds

• Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis through our payment processor, Stripe. Free trials, where offered, convert to a paid subscription unless canceled before the trial ends.
• You can change or cancel your plan at any time from your account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us and we'll make it right.
• We may change prices with notice; changes apply to the next billing period.

4. Acceptable use and third-party platforms

Takt connects to third-party platforms including LinkedIn (via Unipile and HeyReach). Important: automating activity on LinkedIn — including sending connection requests, sequences, or messages — may violate LinkedIn's own terms and can result in restriction or suspension of your LinkedIn account. You use these automation features at your own risk. You agree to:

• Use the Service only with accounts you own or are authorized to operate;
• Comply with the terms of any connected platform;
• Not use the Service for spam, harassment, scraping beyond permitted use, or unlawful purposes;
• Review AI-generated drafts before sending — you are responsible for everything sent from your accounts.

5. Your content and data

You retain ownership of content you provide. You grant us the license needed to operate the Service (including sending your data to the subprocessors listed in our Privacy Policy). Our handling of personal data is described there.

6. AI-generated output

Drafts and suggestions are generated by AI models and may be inaccurate or unsuitable. They are provided as a starting point, not professional advice. You are responsible for reviewing and editing them before use.

7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for actions taken by third-party platforms against your accounts. Our total liability is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms or to comply with law. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; data handling follows our Privacy Policy.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated in-product or by email; continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
